The Panasonic Lumix S1R system camera is the flagship of Panasonic's all-new Lumix S series of cameras. The Lumix S1R has a 47.3-megapixel sensor and uses the versatile Leica L-mount. Additionally, it is the first system camera on the market to shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second.

Leica L-mount
The Panasonic S1R adopts the L-mount in collaboration with Leica. This versatile mount makes the S1 series compatible with various high-quality Leica SL and TL lenses. Panasonic itself has no fewer than 10 lenses planned, including a 50mm f/1.4, a 24-105mm f/4.0, and a 70-200mm f/4.0. In collaboration with Sigma, a wide range of Sigma lenses for the Lumix S series will also be available.

High technology
The Panasonic Lumix S1R boasts a number of technological highlights. The body features built-in 5-axis image stabilization, which combines with 2-axis stabilization in the lens for super-sharp images and the ability to shoot at slower shutter speeds.

Ultra-fast autofocus
The ultra-fast contrast-detection autofocus features Panasonic's DFD (Depth Defocus) technology and 225 contrast-detection points. All of this is powered by the powerful Venus Engine, allowing the Panasonic S1R to focus in just 0.08 seconds. Intelligent autofocus precisely recognizes and tracks people, cats, dogs, and birds, minimizing motion blur.

4K and 6K photos
Fast-moving subjects are no problem for the S1R. In AFS, it shoots at 9 frames per second and with continuous AF up to 6 fps. Additionally, in 6K Photo mode, you have the option of shooting 18-megapixel shots at 30 fps. In 4K Photo mode, this resolution increases to 60 fps at 8 megapixels.

High resolution mode
The already impressive 47.3 megapixel image resolution can be further expanded in High Resolution mode. This mode combines eight separate shots, shifting the sensor position by half a pixel each time. This allows you to shoot with an incredible 187 million pixels and produce RAW photos of 16,736 x 11,168 pixels!

HLG Photo Mode
The new HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) Photo mode lets you capture vivid HDR photos with natural, saturated colors. This adds a new dimension to detailed photography. In addition to the usual JPEG and RAW formats, you can save these images as HSP files.

Advanced Viewfinder
The Lumix S1R features the world's highest-resolution electronic viewfinder for a full-frame system camera. The 5.76 million-pixel OLED screen approaches the resolution of the human eye. Panasonic also boasts the fastest high-speed flash sync at 1/320 second. Photos can be viewed quickly and clearly on the 3.2-inch 3-axis tilting LCD display with 2.1 million pixels.

4K 60fps video
In addition to taking stunning photos, the Lumix S1R also records the most beautiful videos in 4K with a frame rate of no less than 60fps, encoded in 8-bit 4:2:0. In High Speed ​​Video mode, you can shoot up to 2 times slow motion in 4K at 60fps and up to 6 times slow motion in full HD at 180fps.

Dual card slots
No more memory shortages with the Panasonic S1R. The Lumix has two card slots, one for SD cards and one for XQD cards. The new XQD format can handle high speeds and is perfect for high-speed burst photography.

Durable and strong
The S1R's body is robust and durable. Thanks to its complete sealing, the camera is dust and splash resistant. The camera can even be used in extreme temperatures down to -40°C. Ergonomics are excellent, with a perfect grip and optimally positioned function buttons.
